Localicious!

We've been working with the Vermont Fresh Network for a few years now, on various projects from their annual dining guide, advertising design and, recently, a unique project that started as a gift and is now being shared with all Network fans. We coined a phrase that we felt described the mission in a fun and memorable way - "Localicious!" Set with a punchy, scripty typeface, it works great on a t-shirt. Put one on and all can see how you support Vermont's local farms and the restaurants who do, too.

There are many events where you can not only support their mission, but enjoy incredibly delicious means prepared by talented local chefs. Up and coming is the Annual Forum on Sunday August 9. We are proud sponsors and wouldn't miss this night for anything (except maybe vacation, sorry Jen). Hope to see you there and make sure you ask for the new beautiful Dining Guide!

Bleu Sky helps ‘Simplify’ graphics for iPhone app

Our new client, Harmony At Last, launched their first iPhone application called Simplify and tapped Bleu Sky to develop the graphics. This app helps people free themselves from being overworked, overburdened, and overtired and find energy, enthusiasm, and ease instead. Simplify can be found on the Apple iTunes store, in the lifestyle section, for only 99¢. The application has two main features. The first is inspiration and motivation in the areas of: productivity, time management, work/life balance, space organizing, success principles, and simplifying life. The second is the ability to define your own personal “simplify” goals and track your progress.

Here at Bleu Sky Creative we strive to help our clients connect with their customers by creating engaging and meaningful graphics. So we asked ourselves, 'How do you make a mark that illustrates simplicity without becoming cryptic?' We explored the concept of showing a convergence of elements towards a central single white dot, clean and focused. The cool color palette accentuates calm, the heart of this application."

Coaster project featured in ‘Big Book of Self Promotion’

Bleu Sky is pleased to be featured in The Big Book of Self Promotion, a showcase of "the freshest most inventive designs used to grab customers' attention." The book, published by HarperCollins Publishers, features hundreds of examples of uniquely crafted promotions and is distributed in over 20 countries.
This is the second acknowledgement for our coaster project, a holiday greeting we sent out to clients and friends in early 2007. We're considering a reprint since supplies are now low. If interested in your own set of fabulously designed coasters, please let us know!

Celebrating 5 years!

How do you mark a fifth anniversary? Wood! Give it, burn it, build....we're not sure. New office paneling? Plant some seedlings? It makes us ponder. Where have these traditions gone with digital greeting and gift cards? Where's the significance of the material and it's relationship to passage of time? Is it relevant anymore?

Well, we're just gonna celebrate and "knot" get too heady about it. And, we would like to thank all of our clients who've entrusted us with the honorable and humble task of crafting their visual brands and reaching their communication goals. We couldn't get this far without you! Cheers!

We’re Moving!

And free cones to celebrate. We are leaving our fishbowl and going just down the hall to Suite 2B, how appropriate! So when you come to visit, take the entrance at the side of the front awning, right next to Sakura, and we're on the 2nd floor, right in front of the elevator. We're still close enough to Ben & Jerry's for that pre- or post-meeting snack. IN FACT, our first 5 visitors to our new space get a FREE ice cream coupon! Think we're kidding? Stop by for a visit! (but give us some time to get tidy, we’re officially moving June 30th) // www.bskycreative.com
